What is Palinka?
Palinka is a traditional Hungarian fruit drink with a surprising twist. Unlike other high proof drinks (such as Vodka, Rum, Brandy or Grappa) Palinka is made with natural fruit that is matured, pureed, distilled, and bottled for distribution. No sugar or yeast are added so that the drink ferments naturally. Most folks in America refer to it as the Hungarian Brandy, but this could not be further from reality. It is its own drink in its own right. Marathon Spirit a the premiere pioneering distillery in the United States, and also a distributer and wholesaler of Palinka. We are proud to reproduce this historical spirit dating back to the Middle Ages here at home for all to enjoy.
